No support for amlogic.
Bsd does not work with firmwares and amlogic is not very good an open sourcing their documentation.
Which documentation in particular from amlogic is missing/lacking?
Not sure.
Its better to follow up on freebsd arm mailing list.
No one have worked on amlogic on bsd since s805x

Usually the manufacturer, when releasing a new SOC to the market,
provides the software developer with several documents that describe the details of managing the hardware.
These are Datasheet and TRM (Technical Reference Manual). Without these documents,
it is very difficult to write drivers and effectively manage hardware.
For example, Rockchip distributes such documents and they can be found on the Internet.
Here is an example documentation for RK3568
Here is my compilation of various documentation, there is some for Amlogic,
but no TRM for Amlogic.
