Firmware VIM3_Pie_V200103+M2X+ME906E

it is not so important, you need to find a person who knows how to collect Android OS well, and Khadas has enough documents so that your specialist can collect exactly what you need!

I can’t find a developer to develop a suitable ROM for me. The costs here would be completely beyond the scope.

To be honest, I did not come across it myself, however, as I think, if you want to integrate your modem into another device, there will probably also be no guarantee

@ThomasHH-DE are you sure the ROM has not been fixed with Terry’s solution ?

No, it does show LTE, but I can’t use it as you can see in the video

Did you do that adb push, to send libquectel-ril.so file ?
you need to replace that file with Huawei file,

Yes I have. I also replaced the boot.img. Neither was successful

@ThomasHH-DE you have to get the Huawei file !, you have done the procedure with Quectel modem file,
please repeat the procedure with the Huawei drivers,

@Terry could you provide the required drivers for Thomas to work with, thank you

So the files that have already been made available to me:

1.) only the firmware VIM3_Pie_V200624 no mobile network available
2.) libquectel-ril.so Mobile network available but not usable
3.) boot.img Mobile network available but also not usable

I can not say whether it was the Huawei or the Quectel modem file

@Terry has given you the file for Quectel modem, I have asked him to give the Huawei modem, please be patience, once Provided your problem will be solved
:relaxed:

You will just need to do the same procedure with this new driver…

We only support Huawei EM06 module on old Android Firmware. Did you can get work for ME906E module on old Firmware?

It can work but not usable?

@Terry you provided @ThomasHH-DE with the Quectel modem drivers, please provide the Huawei drivers, Or is this the Huawei drivers with a different name ? (the name libquectel confuses me as it looks like it is for quectel modem)

You have mixed the Quectel EM-06 and Huawei ME906E

OK, there are obviously problems with the translation. I thought I should try it as described above. I don’t have a Huawei driver …

If the translation is correct, is the Huawei modem only supported in old firmware? I thought I should just download the latest one (VIM3_Pie_V200624) and try it? I don’t quite understand all of that now

@ThomasHH-DE,
you were prescribed to try to use the drivers given by Terry to make the Huawei modem work in latest Firmware,

you have replied that it is not being able to send and receive data.

Sorry, but now the whole translation makes no sense. I did 1: 1 what @Terry suggested. After that there was LTE but it could not be used because there was no traffic via LTE. But this can also be seen in the entire videos

Yes I see that as well, I think something is wrong with the SIM card, I had a similar issue when I tried switching the SIM card between mobile devices, it was connected with network, but the SIM did not give any network traffic…

That can’t be, because the SIM card works fine with the Huawei under ubuntu

Hmm, I am out of other suggestions, @Vladimir.v.v do you propose something else ?

Yes, I understood the whole essence of the problem, this is due to the integration of drivers with Android OS for the desired modem

VIM3_Pie_V191122, VIM3_Pie_V191101, VIM3_Pie_V200103, VIM3_Pie_V190809, VIM3_Pie_V190907, VIM3_Pie_V200319, VIM3_Pie_V200624 now I have all. Either there is no “Mobile Internet” option or the option is there, it also connects to T-Mobile, but I cannot use it because there is no traffic.
