Fading LED White Light

I drained my K1019 Mind Kit entirely of power and now when I try to start it up I get this fading in and out white light. If I unplug the device from power, I get a fading in and out red light after a while. Once I plug it in again, the fading white light returns. Note that I never actually press the power button. The LED light shows this behavior as soon as I plug in the power. The HDMI cable won’t show any output on my monitor either, and neither do I see the Ethernet switch port’s light being activated.

I kept the device plugged in for another 20 minutes but the behavior persisted.

I also wanted to know if there is any LED error code guide for the Mind Kit as I was not able to find anything in that regard.

I suspect that this issue maybe related to this this one.

Not sure if that will help but for mine, when I have issues with the battery or buttons which become unresponsive, I have to open it, physically unplug the battery from the PC then replug, and after that it works.
had to do it only twice since 1.04 bios update.
or wait 48h unplugged for the battery to drain…

Hi @Spaarsh_Thakkar

The LED status is as follows:

  • White light flashing: Power on and charging,
  • Red light flashing (not fast flashing): Battery level below 30%,
  • Red light fast flashing: No battery or battery failure

For more LED status information, please refer to the Khadas official website FAQ:https://www.khadas.com/mind/support

The Mind 2 AI Maker Kit is not compatible with the Mind Dock.

Regarding the Ethernet port issue you mentioned, have you used the Mind Dock The? Mind 2 AI Maker Kit is not compatible with the Mind Dock (as indicated on the official page). The reason is the display channel support issue of the Ultra 258v chipset. Specifically, the HDMI port near the 2.5G Ethernet port on the Mind Dock will not display anything (100% failure). The HDMI port near the USB-A port will only display after the Mind 2 AI Maker Kit and Mind Dock are connected and powered on. Disconnecting it during operation will also result in no display.

Regarding the Ethernet port issue.
please check the device manager to see if the network card driver is loaded properly.
