Extreme cooling help

@tsangyoujun I await your thoughts on my theory…
:wink:

buddy, is this a physics lesson?
:thinking::joy::+1:

No… does it seem like one ???
:rofl:

I want to understand what your idea is, maybe in practice it will be more clear, do you want to do something?
:thinking::slightly_smiling_face:

Maybe, I want to see how well a prototype will work, and want to answer that question, will it be better or worse

But let me summarize that, it will be explained by a simple question…

If you were given a hot cup of soup or tea, and you wanted it cool it a bit…

  1. would you blow over it.

  2. would you blow at an angle

  3. would you blow directly perpendicular to the surface of the beverage ?

the answer to this question will explain the entire summarization :blush:

i love when hot soup
:+1::face_with_hand_over_mouth::wink:

Buddy you are missing the point here, I know that if you get your soup hot in northern countries it is a blessing that you have a working stove and can enjoy hot food in the cold weather :smile:

but that is not the case for people like me living in tropical countries, hot soup is like lava and cooked hot food is always the equivalent of Barbeque, kebabs, shashlik, or whatever you like to call it…

as far as I know, in India, even in the heat of the day, they drink hot tea, or do I have the wrong information?
:point_up::slightly_smiling_face:

You got it right buddy, but we must not deviate from the topic, this is extreme cooling not food reviews :sweat_smile:

We cant blow on the soup anymore :mask:

Is there any place that has heatsink in the size to fit the VIM boards already the correct size?

70mm X 35mm x 10 or 15mm tall?

I found one on amazon but i think ill have to cut it to fit

Haha, you don’t want to spray the soup all over the table, that is like blowing the missus fuse, probably even suicidal…:skull_and_crossbones:

But please stop messing with the soup, I think you guys are getting distracted from the original point…

can you share the link, I will see it…

70 x 35 x 10/15 mm seems to have a good fit, but how do you plan to mount it to the device ???

I wasnt going to mount it, just stick it with the artic silver paste and let it just sit on there and keep the board flat

Wish i had a 3D pronter ide print up some straps to hold the sink down on the board and use the new VIM screws

Please don’t keep reminding me, I want one too…
:sob:

@BowerR64 let us go with the theme of this topic, Why don’t you invest in some Thermal grizzly carbonaut ???

Do you plan to realize your project?
:slightly_smiling_face:

Finish my project ?
Heck yea I want to, but time does not permit me to…

do you think, your project has no right to life?
:thinking::slightly_smiling_face:

I found a sink on amazon for 2, $8, free shipping

I plan to cut with a dremel, and hacksaw on green lines
