Great video !, Looks cool :ice_cube: :snowflake:
(pun intended) :smile:

But I think just extreme cooling doesn’t make me tingle yet…
I need to utilize the temprature headroom for some higher clockrates…
any status on that Overclocked rom yet ?

I’m worried about Rockchip there

Oh yea @Terry and @numbqq have noted your requests for over-clocking. You know they will need sometime to implement it. :smile:

Thanks mate, but I don’t think it was just my humble request, I just kickstarted the movement…

But I will give my thanks to Terry and Numbqq for their help :blush:

in this case, 100% be prepared for extreme cooling !!!

:sweat_smile::+1::wink:

Yep, now is the time to put it to good use…:smile:

yes, especially after Khadas goes to the Guinness World Record!
:slightly_smiling_face::wink:

I just want something like 2.6GHz even higher is even better , and set the governor to whatever gives me speed when under load and lower power consumption when in Idle…

I hope that people will not have more problems in this regard, this must be done as an additional setting, and not the main one

Yes, I want firmware that is readily unlocked for overclocking, I will harness it when it is neccesary…

perhaps by this time there will be other boards, more powerful

RK3588 ?, I am also waiting for his arrival…

Amlogic will also release

Let Amlogic make the faster closed-source linux graphics drivers and other stuff open for us, the newer SoCs can wait…

buddy, the world does not stand still, soon artificial intelligence will be everywhere
:robot::wink:

What we need is a peltier that fits on the older VIM 2 heatsink, the fan on the older VIM2 heatsink sits above the CPU we could stick that to the older VIM2 sink then cool the peltier

Do they make smaller peltiers that could mount to that older VIM2 sink?

Hyphop and Tsangyoujun were using a thing called a Black shark Funcooler
(a cooling device for alleged “gaming phones”)

which basically is a small Peltier powered by USB strapped on to a tiny heatsink and fan…

@BowerR64 you can get this small peltier (30x30mm) on amazon.com
it will fit on the VIM heatsinks

You can get this one Here

They rate it 5v and atleast 2-3A power consumption , you can just search for 30mm or 25mm peltier module and see the other ones available
