is it impossible using edge io module with Edge2??

Edge-IO module description says module compatable with Edge2

so I try to connect Edge-IO on Edge2_IO1

after connect when i supply power to Edge2 Edge IO module Super Hottt

Please let us know how to mount the Edge IO to the Edge 2. It’s urgent

It is only a partial functions works, e.g. TF card, uart debug console, others may not work, we suggest to use the Edge2 IO board on Edge2.

I just noticed the same…

If connecting the Edge-IO V13 to Edge2, the board will not even boot, and the edge module itself becomes very hot.

I suggest you remove the “compatible” part - it clearly looks like this IO module is NOT compatible with Edge2, and can in worst case cause harm.

@numbqq - any possibility it could be added to the amazon store page? if so, i’ll buy one immediately. i’d love to be able to experiment with it in time to take with me on my work trip on friday.

Does this mean that the only way to get Ethernet on the edge2 is via USB?

EDIT: Looks like that is the case: Edge2 and hypothetical ethernet - #2 by numbqq

Yes, and we will also have an add-on for the Edge2 to expand ethernet but also via USB.
