I just got a brand new Edge 2 Developer unit.
I connected it to HDMI and USB-C power, making sure to use 9v power adapter and cable, and after seeing the lights switch between white and green, one LED shut off, and the other one went to blink white every once in a while, according to the docs this is the normal behaviour for the LEDs and the board operation, however I could not see anything on the screen, the screen identified the cable is connected by there was nothing on the display. I tried changing the USB-C cable and adapter to a 12v adapter and capable cable and got the same results.
I saw in another forum thread that sometimes the you need to initiate the oowow process manually, so I tried pushing the function key, and the reboot key afterwards and I got the same exact results. Other thread said to power it off using the power button, hold the function button and power it on from the power button but I got the same results.
Lastly, I also tried the two WiFi options:
- I managed to log in to the hotspot from the board and could ping the device from my PC, but I could not get to the web gui, nor to an ssh session.
- I also tried to create a mobile hotspot with my mobile phone, with the oowow SSID and saw it the device connected, but I still could not get into the device web gui.
What else can I do, could the board be defective?
