sry, those Rockchip numbering schemes got me confused…
I tried reading that roadmap as many times as I could, but the only two, which stick in my head is RK3399 and RK3588, I am sure anyone could deduce why those two stick well 
Yes. Besides, I like the 3399 and look forward to the 3588, and I have had two 3288s, a 3228, a 3188 and a 2928, it is easy to confuse. 
And yes, I too have the 3328. 
Sigh, let’s just hope it comes out soon

nvm i figured it out!
i did a google search for this error and it lead me to this thread.
Since it was on the same topic i thought ide post my same issue.
i tried a newer version of android tool (v 2.65) and that fixed it. It updates fine with the newer tool version
