I want to use Vim3l USB-C to output to SMSL PO100AK DAC but can not get output. I’ve also tried the other two USB on my Vim3l but only get very low output from the SMSL DAC.

I want to get audio data out of the VIM3L USB-C port and send it into the SMSL PO100AK DAC input USB-C port so that I can use the SPDIF output on the SMSL PO100AK DAC to send audio to my Minidsp 8X12DL DSP SPDIF input.

I will power the VIM3L using the VIN connector.

I assume I will not be getting any support or information on this question so I will probably buy a Raspberry Pi4b which I have been assured will output audio from USB and has reliable support.

Our motherboard does not have a USB sound card and cannot output audio from USB. We have a special expansion board with an audio IC. Only when the expansion board is connected can the audio be output.
