I’ve installed the heat sink and fan on my VIM3 which uses Android 9 OS from the factory and the fan is not operating when things start to get hot. Is there anyway to run a check on the fan?

From the brief bit of time I ran the provided Android 9 image, I do not recall the automatic setting being functional. It could be controlled manually, however, from the settings panel.
