hello guys,
it’s me again. I have another build for the community,

Debian linux is the foundation for many other linux operating systems such as Ubuntu etc.

Photos:

Debian Root User Desktop

Debian regular User Desktop

Note:
This image is for USB and SD card only.
Put your VIM3 into Multiboot mode:

Important:
Use a storage medium specifically * 8 GB or larger

The login credentials are as follows:
For regular user
User: khadas
Password: khadas

For Root user,
User: root
Password: khadas

Regular user is more prefferable than the root user

This build was created as it was not available in the Firmware downloads and many beginners who needed it could have struggled with Fenix building which takes a lot of time ( Personal experience)
Hope you like it

I installed your build, but no audio output. PulseAudio control shows “No output devices available”. aplay -l shows:

**** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices ****

Subdevices: 1/1

The audio plays fine in official Ubuntu builds.

Suggestions? Thanks.

Hello! he is still practicing on Linux.
:grimacing:

@O635789 I’ll see if I can put out a fresher build for you to try, please wait Thank you

:joy: What’s wrong with Linux? All Pi tinkers are Linux users. I just don’t want Android except on smartphones.

Vladimir was joking that Electric is new at building linux thats why there is audio bug. Although it was a joke but may seem as he is talking about Linux…

I totally forgot that I uploaded this build a while ago
it isn’t very relevant anymore now that we have the fenix build scripts, images can be made anytime we need, I will close that download link, and maybe set a place for people to download daily image builds…

p.s the Audio issue has been resolved in latest versions, so don’t mind using the old firmware anymore, cheers!
