Cooling fan does not work in Ubuntu

I have some problem to activate the cooling fan on vim_1… It only works in android. Fan-setting application changes the file /boot/env.txt, but the cooler fan doesn’t turn on. OS Name/Version - Ubuntu: 20.04.1 LTS 64, Gnome 3.36.8
