Carpc lcd monitor radio

Which system do you use? Android, Ubuntu, OOWOW or others?

Android

I am writing using a translator, if anything, sorry for the poor clarity.

Hello, I want to buy khadas vim4. I want to use it as a car radio with lcd instead of dragonboard rb3, on the basis of which I tried to make it, which I could not make work well. I do not want to compile the kernel and assembly. Here’s what I need: watching videos in all formats except 4k. uart gps - if you can’t connect it, then you can usb gps (I have one) which works well with one program, but the operating system constantly requests usb access. This is very annoying and unnecessary. In which version of the android operating system is this not available? I want to try a 4g modem and nvme drives. Can you advise which modem to take? What firmware should be in the modem and how, if anything, to change it. And is there 3g reception? What restrictions can the provider or country impose on different modems? The frequency range is the maximum possible. Except 5g.

If you have a link, can you provide it?

Is it possible to lower the processor clock frequency in android? The temperature in the car is very high. We will have to make a very large cooling. I would like a notification curtain like in 12 android and above. But it is not necessary. I can only buy vim4, m2x and 4g modem on AliExpress for now. If the GPS will work with a constant notification from the system, then I will have to consider vim3. Since the navigator on android is very necessary. You also need “power off” when pressing and holding a button or two buttons, this is also very important. But I saw that vim4 seems to have root. So I understand that this can be done. But if there is a simpler instruction without decompiling files into the smali language, then I would like to have it.

Sorry, I didn’t fully understand what you meant. Do you want to install and use GPS module and 4G module on VIM4?

I need to somehow get a good GPS on android using gpio or usb or via a 4G modem. If there is an instruction for GPIO, then you can use it
