I’ve trying to boot from an SD with different VIM1S OS images (armbian, HA, ubuntu) without success.
From the available documentation I understand that a boot image has to be written in the initial sector of the SD, but it is not to be found in any of the folders in khadas vim1s documentation.
I didn’t manage either to compile the boot image using fenix as I don’t have an x86 ubuntu system.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance.
Hello @Vindio
For VIM1S, the SD card has the higst boot priority, just write any generic image to SD card and insert it to board and reboot, it will boot from the SD card.
Thanks for the quick answer. I’ve tried with different images flashed with balena etcher…I will try again with another SD.
