Blue Screen Occurs When Connecting Monitor to Mind Graphics

Mind Graphics arrived, and I set it up using the following YouTube video as a reference:

The RTX 4060 Ti was recognized in Task Manager, and I confirmed that Mind Graphics was connected through the Mind app.
Following the steps in the video, I connected the monitor from Mind to Mind Graphics, and a blue screen occurred. After rebooting, the blue screen continues to occur whenever video output is made from Mind Graphics.

Is there any support available?

Does it works well if you connect the monitor to your Mind? And whats the resolution of your monitor? Could you take a photo about your monitor when is connected to Mind Graphics and display abnormal?

The monitor I tested is a Dell U2720QM with a 4k resolution.
When my Mind Premium is docked to Mind Graphics and connected to the monitor via HDMI, the video displays correctly, but it has been observed that it forcibly restarts every few minutes.

I’ve attached a photo that shows the issue.
The screen either displays a distorted image like this or stays black and keeps rebooting repeatedly.

You mean the monitor display restarts every few minutes? How about to connect the monitor to Mind HDMI port?

The following are the phenomena that occur and their situations:

  1. Mind x Mind Graphics (Monitor → Mind Graphics HDMI port)
    The screen either displays a distorted image like my photo or stays black and keeps crashing repeatedly. (In any case, this configuration keeps causing repeated crashes)
  2. Mind x Mind Graphics (Monitor → Mind HDMI port)
    The screen display is normal, but Mind crashes every few minutes
  3. Mind only
    Everything works fine

Could you try to reinstall the Graphics drviers and provide the information below?

  • Donwloand and install Graphics drivers & patch: dl.khadas.com - Index of /products/mind-graphics/driver/
  • Does your system is the orignal one and not reinstalled?
  • Provide the Graphics driver version: Device Manager → 406 Ti Drivers
  • Provide the BIOS & EC version: WIN + R and type msinfo32

Success: The driver was installed and the patch was applied.

Does your system is the orignal one and not reinstalled?

YES

Provide the Graphics driver version: Device Manager → 406 Ti Drivers
Provide the BIOS & EC version: WIN + R and type msinfo32

(Since using the Snipping Tool causes crashes, these were taken with an iPhone camera.)

After reinstall the driver and reboot, the monitor still can’t work on the Mind Graphics?

YES…it still cannot work.

  • Boot with connecting to the Mind HDMI port, then switch to the Mind Graphics HDMI port
    → While connecting to the Mind HDMI port, Desktop can be displayed, but after switching, it repeatedly crashes with a black screen.
  • Boot with connecting to the Mind Graphics HDMI port
    → Repeatedly crashes with a black screen. (cannot login)

Hi everyone following this topic,

I wanted to share an update as the situation has progressed.
My Mind Graphics turned out to be defective, and after sending it back to Khadas, I received a replacement.
I was able to set up the new one following the steps in the YouTube video mentioned above, and it’s working perfectly.

For the return, I used international shipping.
In my case, Khadas was supposed to cover the shipping costs, but the refund hasn’t been processed yet, as it seems to be taking some time.

I hope this information helps others who might be facing the same issue.
