I need to be able to VNC into my Khadas Edge running Ubuntu without being near it. This requires automatic login on boot. If I try to disable requesting password on login on 4.4 it fails to boot and gets stuck at a black screen. Doing so on 5.7 seems to have no effect and still requires a password at login. Please advise. Thank you.
Have you tried removing the password?

Attempting to remove the password didn’t take but locating and modifying the gdm config file was successful! Thank you very much!
