Please describe your issue below:

My Edge 2 is connected to a dock station via DP cable. The dock station is wired with USB devices, HDMI cable, and Ethernet cable. All devices are connected via the dock station and they are working fine.
However, the Edge 2 Ubuntu system always defaults to HDMI as the audio output - which is incorrect. It shall be DP not HDMI. I have to adjust the audio output device every single time after the the system boots up.

This is the HDMI output device that the system always selected by default.

Here is the correct audio output device that I want the system to stay with.

Thanks for your feedback. We will update the solution here in the future.

If you use DP frequently, please modify the configuration file.

$ sudo vim /etc/pulse/default.pa

Modify the following fields

# Set default sink
set-default-sink alsa_output.platform-dp0-sound.stereo-fallback
