AOSP support for VIM4

I was able to build AOSP from their instructions here for the VIM4.

But as of yet it I haven’t been able to load it into the VIM4 successfully yet:

Uploading update.img from AOSP for VIM4 doesn't seem to overwrite OOWOW

I followed the documentation here: Building Android Source Code | Khadas Documentation to build AOSP for vim4 - which worked beautifully. And then I followed the documentation here: This seemed to work, but after the vim4 rebooted, it went back to oowow and I was never able to get the compiled android 11 to boot. Is there a work around for this?
