Android: Forgetting Launcher Default

Hello,

I have a custom launcher running on my android which is also starting fine on boot. But on the second usage of the home button, I get asked to set the default launcher. This happens after every reboot.

How can I set the launcher permanently?

I am running Android “VIM3_Pie_V200917”.

@mldevw try going to the settings -> advanced settings -> permissions (and possibly add the custom launcher instead of the default one)

but there should be an option to set an app as the default when asked… so please check both possibilties

Thanks for your reply.
I didn’t get the first option, I just can’t find it.
The second option I do, but it seems it is forgotten every reboot.

My current workaround is to disable all launchers but the one I want.
