Long time no see… Had been quite busy with daily work and had no time to get back to the favorite toys made by Khadas… Anyway, long time I wanted to make a Khadas boards to work as Android Auto source, but had no luck… Either Accessory mode wasn’t working or something else… And VIM3 and below isn’t enough to run big android apps. But lyrics aside, finally I wanted to give a heads up, Android Auto is possible on Khadas devices, especially with Android 13 on Edge, VIM4 is also capable but let Baylibre guys or Khadas have Android 13 or 14 there… It is not an easy trick to make Android Auto to work on AOPS based source code, as a AOSP base code isn’t equal to what is running on commercial devices, however it is not something impossible. Credits to have an ability to run AA on open sourced devices goes to that guy sn-00-x · GitHub but I managed to adopt that to Edge 2 Android 13 codebase and finally happy to have it running on Edge2 Pro and pretty smoothly.
