Hi, vim3 team, I found 5-6 board of VIM3 fail after I use krescue SD to write my image from my master VIM3 board to a new one EMMC, but some board is fail, they can not boot after remove SD and power on. The LED status does not blink normally. And I try to insert SD to use krescue again but they can not boot.
Could you please to help me to solve this problem, I found this problem 5-6 boards.

For PCB marking 20092152 can be write emmc and boot ok
But PCB marking 20094620 will be fail after wrtie emmc

What’s this board? Basic or Pro?

All my VIM3 boards are basic version,

My previous order from Aliexpress 10 boards , the pcb marking are 200946xx, I random one board to write emmc and it’s fail.

Before this I found this problem for 4 boards, same problem
Problem list

  • not boot
  • can not KRescue boot from SD card
  • HMDI no signal
  • USB burning tool fail.
  • White LED blink not normally

I receive this board from postman yesterday. there are 10 boards in this order.

I may know the issue, need to update new image to support this board.

We will release new images later, both Krescue and Ubuntu image need to update.

That mean, I can not use the problem board, right?

It’s not problem board, the new board shipped with a new DDR model which need new image.

OOWOW images was updated

just upload latest (from 220928 ) images from dl.khadas.com - Index of /products/oowow/system/

BTW: mainline u-boot images same was updated dl.khadas.com - Index of /firmware/uboot/mainline/
