VIM3 upgrade via USB-C failed when writing to rootfs

Can you try AMl-Burn tool for windoz and see if it works fine ?
Try the latest burn tool from Khadas site

I think linux tools is not updated for vim3 latest firmwares.

@kevinz Can you try again ? the linux tool sometimes reports errors . Not very stable .

I 've retried several time but failed.

I run the linux tools on a vm. I wonder do you have Mac support for burning tools? I do not have windows computer for a loooong time :slight_smile:

@kevinz If you use VIM , you must make sure to connect to the VM all the way and not disconnect .

Our tool is from the chip manufacturer. If the chip manufacturer supports Mac, we will update it .

And I think you have other ways to solve it .

  1. make a windows VM.
  2. Use Krescure .
