you can install on your device with krescue, you just need to copy the image to it and flash.
no, eMMC can only be flashed with Krescue(in .xz form special method) and USB-C burning tool,
I thought you wanted eMMC image, but i’ll switch it up now if needed
I’m not entirely sure about the reboot, we’ll need to test everything to come to know the exact reason.
You first check what you did and then offer it, otherwise now you will take a person’s time.

I want the file on an USB and then install it on the board. I want to avoid downloading images from internet all the time.
I’ve put in an SD-USB image build as well,
so its more suitable for testing, if it works well, you can go ahead and install the eMMC version

@dexterac I compiled latest firmware for you:
VIM3_Ubuntu-server-bionic_Linux-4.9_arm64_SD-USB_V0.9.6-201120.img (with additional packages)
Note: this includes the necessary packages for tensorflow, open-cv etc.
