Vim3 microphone with Android

Does anyone know the easiest way to connect a mic to the Vim3? is there a place on the tone board to connect a mic?

Thank you for the ideas! I am hoping to find something that can hard wire to the Vim3 or tone board as I need it mounted inside the case with all the electronics. Will an I2C mic be detected by android? I see a topic for connecting it to ubuntu but it looks very complicated.
Any advice will be greatly appreciated!

Hello, Maybe this thread will offer some ideas.
Also USB ports are available on the GPIO, you could hard wire one of the USB mics like was shown above.
