Vim3 in a car power questions

So i have 99% of what i need working, the one thing that i am trying to figure out is how i can hook up 3 wires

  1. power
  2. acc
  3. ground

to the vim3 this way when i turn the key off it will send a “sleep” or standby signal to the vim3. I found a device here https://mausberry-circuits.myshopify.com/collections/frontpage/products/4amp-car-supply-switch but this works with raspberry pi and not sure if it will work for the vim3. Has anyone done something like this before?

Hello, Yes similar was done by @tschultz in his Truck dashboard project. Others on the forum, like @davemf have also done similar.
