Which system do you use? Android, Ubuntu, OOWOW or others?
OOWOW
Please describe your issue below:
I attempted to transfer the OS image from one VIM3 device to another.
So I created an OOWOW bootable USB for VIM3 using this page as a reference.
I entered Upgrade Mode using Key Mode and dumped the Ubuntu 24.04 image onto a USB drive.
Next, I took out the new VIM3 with Android pre-installed and entered upgrade mode in the same manner. I launched OOWOW, made no additional settings changes, and proceeded to write the image I had just backed up to the eMMC.
After writing was completed and I rebooted, the white light comes on, but the fan doesn’t spin, the screen doesn’t turn on at all, and there is no response.
When connected to the PC and TST is launched, the USB Burn Tool is turned on and the device is recognized.
After that, I tried uploading the Ubuntu 24.04 image (vim3-ubuntu-24.04-gnome-linux-5.15-fenix-1.7.5-250925-emmc.img), but it failed as shown above.
Q. Is it completely bricked, or is there still a way to revive it?
