USB-C DP Alt Mode and HDMI supported resolutions on Edge-V

hello, I am unable to select 2560*1440 resolution on Edge-V (Nougat), is the resolution not supported?
Has anyone tested the Edge-V with this resolution on any linux distro?

adb remount
adb shell
su
rm /system/usr/share/resolution_white.xml
reboot

You can try the above command to see if it works.
