Touchscreen 9inch 2560x1600 + VIM3 on Ubuntu does not work

Hi,

I installed https://dl.khadas.com/Firmware/VIM3/Ubuntu/SD_USB/VIM3_Ubuntu-server-focal_Linux-5.7-rc7_arm64_SD-USB_V0.9-20200530.7z on Vim3
Use screen Touchscreen 9inch 2560x1600 9inch 2560x1600 Monitor - Waveshare Wiki

But it doesn’t work

I’m not sure whether this resolution is supported by mainline kernel.

I use 7inch FHD Monitor - Waveshare Wiki also doesn’t work

@numbqq 2560x1600 isn’t a vesa resolution, hence it isn’t working, software will also not fix it…

the other monitor is not 1980x1080 its 1080x1920, it needs software modification to flip the screen ( with xrandar which also is not currently available in mainline)
