No sound is coming from my TV when connected over HDMI. Can’t seem to find a setting that will make it work

If that firmware was updated on 14 January 2023, no. Can I update the firmware without reinstalling Android?

Thank you. I updated the firmware and now I have sound.

If you mean did I change any settings, then no, I didn’t.

@Sinky Has the sound of both been tuned to the maximum? What is your TV display resolution? In addition, you can catch a logcat to have a look. Before you play the sound, run the logcat -c command to clear the previous log information. Then execute logcat, play a short sound, and then paste the corresponding log.

@Sinky In addition, do you have an external IO board? If the firmware recognizes the external IO board, the sound will come from the IO board.
