yes, you need to use USB … sd card flash is very very unreliable.

After the Amlogic Burning Tool flash the Vim3 Booted under 30 seconds.
All Previous builds there was no issues.
Update on Amlogic Burn Tool
It eventually got past the above error.
No idea after more than 15 tries it decided to work.

Your persistence is commendable. 
Though rare, I have had instances where I had to flash four or five times to get past an error.

hi, judging by the screenshot, there is an error somewhere in the usb connection, it could be a usb port / cable
Failure does not frighten me.
It makes me more persistant.

Now for the Bad News after trying my CoreELEC SD Card Boot.
I powered off the Vim3 and pulled out my HDMI to insert SD Card.
I normal powered on the Vim3 with the CE SD Card inserted hoping to test the
Boot to other OS power menu option for first time CE SD card Boot.
The Vim3 would not boot past the SC Splash screen.
I had not tried recovery before this power on.
Basically if CoreELEC SD Card is inserted
The Vim3 will not boot up past the Superceleron Splash screen.
I tried 3 times and it just freezes on the splash screen.
I then removed Sd Card and booted ATV
Then i inseted CE SD Card whilst ATV was running.
Chose Reboot to other OS
Rebooted to same Splash screen and no further.
I tried the recovery method holding power button whilst powering on
Same behaviour
Won’t go past the SC ATV Splash screen.

@kostaman as, @Vladimir.v.v has told, by chance did you use a USB 2.0 port on your PC to flash the ROM to your device ?
It is best to use usb-port directly to the motherboard, preferably in usb 3.0, of course, and so that the cable is good
