KTB dead after power surge

I had a power surge in the house and following that KTB is dead.
The connections were like this:

  • 220v from wall to DYI LPS and 5v exit - it works now
  • 5v to Rpi - which is also dead
  • Rpi usb to KTB GPIO 2-5 by cable and small adapter (which is black now)
    So my understanding is high current pass through RPi to KTB

I try KTB with another Rpi by usb cable connection and I have only the power led on.
Same with windows, the board not detected.
What can I check trying to revive KTB?

Please delete, I did buy another generic one. But this time it comes without connectors and stuff. Save the costs perhaps.
