Good day everyone.
Was wondering if there was a way to flash kali linux to the Khadas VIM2 PRO in a similar way to doing it on any sort of raspberry pi. Can I just mount the ISO to the SD and install it or does the Khadas require a different way of getting custom linux distribution installed? I have been able to install ubuntu and ubuntu-xenial and ubuntu-server-bionic on it via the USB burning tool provided in the instructions.
Hello @TrojanLij
Sorry for the late reply,
Welcome to the community,
I am also in the same process of trying to load Kali Linux for my VIM3 Pro
I found the image for ARM devices on their page, https://www.kali.org/downloads/
I will try to test it and give you my results.
Hello @Urajmal ,
I am sorry about the Kali ROM,
It requires some modifications and specific drivers
I am quite busy with my Exams here
But I sure will check up on it during the starting of March
I forgot about it but wanted to remind,
Kali nethunter ROM is also available
It’s a version of modified android with Kali tools
Please try it and tell me
I did some light research and it seems there is an app called ‘katoolin’.
It allows all the Kali Linux apps to be installed on Ubuntu
Maybe you can try it out if that is your purpose
oooh, will do, i use kali at work for penetration patching purposes. if i could have kali in my pocket (sexy khadas sbm) , i can be anywhere around the company e.g. datacenter
