khadas vim4 hooked up to an elder tft display capable up to 1280x1024
does not work at all.
What to do when there is no other display / TV available?
Am i missing something or did you just not consider this situation?

Sorry, I’m not sure what you want to do. Which TFT screen you tested?
For VIM4, we support MIPI, VB1 and eDP screen.
i am talking about a standard 19" TFT Display connected via HDMI Cable.
