Good, that should mean your ears were spared serious damage as well.

Yeah, I’m pretty sure only my soul was damaged, both from the awful sound and then from being really worried that maybe I’d damaged the speakers.
I’ve spent a couple hours listening carefully to make sure that the speakers are ok and I think that they are.
