Which system do you use? Android, Ubuntu, OOWOW or others?
Have tried booting OOWOW, using the RKdevtool on Windows, as well as linux
Which version of system do you use? Please provide the version of the system here:
None currently, Had Armbian last time I used it 6 months ago
Please describe your issue below:
Was trying to boot the device to do some updatig, but does not boot. Giving it power I get a couple flashes of the white LEDon RGB LED 2. If I apply power and hit function 3 times I do get the red RGB LED1 to flash, and it shows as Maskrom in the Windows flasher, as well as from the linux commandline. Tying to flash from Windows, I get a message failing at the Prepare IDB step. If I try to use linux to flash, I ca load teh SPL file, but when I try to flash the OS img, it fails as well. Putting the SPL recovery onto a USB drive and trying to boot from that, nothing happens. On power up the device shows being in MASKROM mode under windows or linux, ad I cant progress or get to the OOWOW interface.
Please don’t be upset—the forum’s notification wasn’t prominent enough, so this critical piece of feedback may have been missed.
Have you tried forcing your way into the OOWOW system screen?
First make sure you have a qualified power supply connected, plus a monitor, keyboard and mouse.
Then press and hold the F-Function key, give the R-Reset key a single short press, and finally release the F-Function key.
Not upset, was just sad to see no response. As for forcing OOWOW, I tried. I have tried every guide on your site for accessing it, as well as the mentioned direct firmware flashing utils under Windows and Linux with the same result.
I understand your situation. I have already contacted our engineer to help investigate the issue. If possible, please provide more details before he connects with you. Check for any obvious abnormalities on the product itself, such as damage or missing parts. Also, confirm the specifications of the adapter you are using—for example, whether it supports a maximum output of 12V 2A and is PD-protocol compatible.
