Cannot see M.2 NVME

I’m running Ubuntu 20.04 and I have attached an M.2 NVME adapter. but the Vim3 cannot see the ssd.
I have browsed the forum but the link to the instructions is dead.
How do I activate the PCIe?

@rowley2504 Please execute the following command.

$ echo 1 > /sys/class/mcu/usb_pcie_switch_mode
$ sudo reboot
