I would like to know if this USB card, if connected via GPIO in a Khadas VIM2 MAX, would work normally.

Hello, I do not believe the Raspberry Pi GPIO and the VIM2 GPIO have the same pin assignments.

If true and the hub connects through the GPIO, it won’t work and connecting it to the VIMs’ GPIO could result in damage to both devices.
